I had the chance to take a summer internship at Branches a nonprofit organization. Branches mission is to serve, educate, and inspire people through student, family, and financial wellness services in partnership with communities. I worked in the administrative office, where I watched how a non-profit works. I work with the program manager and secretary on various works. This internship enlightens my mind about giving back to the community to people of different backgrounds.

While I was working there, I translated Haitian Creole for the supervisor to bridge communication with the Haitian-speaking parents. I also organize the curriculum and create graphic designs for certain activities. Furthermore, I performed general office duties from data entry to phone calls. Moreover, I have learned a lot from my time at Branches and hope to make a huge impact in my community like them.
